Running Career
● Started at the age of 26 without any previous experience. After two years completed the Boston Marathon in 2 hours 43 minutes.
● Started triathlons at 30 and completed three Iron Man Races.
● His philosophy remains unchanged, to run injury free with minimal effort as humans were designed. Quality not quantity, correct form and use of the body. Most runners overtrain with poor form. Get more out of less mileage.
Barefoot Yoshi’s Challenge
Despite accidentally rupturing his achilles tendon in April 2014 (not from running!), he started running again 3 months later without any surgery or cast. With little training he has completed the Vibram HK 100km in 17 hours!
